Meet the Founders
PLAY DNA is the brainchild of the Glantz brothers, Daniel and Alec.
Daniel Glantz
At 16, Daniel is an inspiring young leader with a passion for sports, including baseball, basketball, and football. Despite facing the same challenges many teens struggle with, he channels his energy into positive outlets like sports, traveling, food exploration, music, and working out. Daniel has developed strong leadership skills, excelling in decision-making, problem-solving, and collaboration, both in sports and in his personal endeavors.
Driven by his own experiences, Daniel co-founded PLAY DNA, an organization that promotes mental health awareness through the power of play. His initiative, "PLAY to Combat Mental Health Issues, One Player at a Time," focuses on the positive impact of sports and physical activity on mental well-being. Through PLAY DNA, Daniel encourages others to stay active, connect with peers, and find balance in both their mental and physical health.
Alec Glantz
Alec is a dynamic 14-year-old with a passion for sports, especially basketball and football. Beyond athletics, he loves traveling, exploring new cuisines, and immersing himself in music. He's dedicated to personal growth and fitness, with regular workouts being a part of his routine. Alec excels in leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and collaboration, skills he's honed both on and off the court.
As co-founder of PLAY DNA, a youth-driven organization, Alec is committed to using the power of play to combat mental health issues. His initiative, "PLAY to Combat Mental Health Issues, One Player at a Time," emphasizes the importance of sports and recreational activities in promoting mental wellness among young people. Through PLAY DNA, Alec is making a positive impact on his peers, encouraging them to stay active, build strong connections, and foster a healthy mind and body.
